Terms and conditions

These terms apply whenever you use Make Creati. They set out what the service does, what it costs, what you may and may not use it for, and where our responsibility ends.

Publication status — draft

Draft v0.4 · Sole proprietorship, Tampa, Florida · Fictitious-name registration and a business mailing address are still required before advertising. This language needs client and legal approval before publication. It is a structured working draft, not a final legal guarantee.

Who you are contracting with

Make Creati is a sole proprietorship operating from Tampa, Florida, United States. It trades under the name Make Creati.

Contact for all matters, including legal notices, billing questions, and support: info@makecreati.com. We reply to every message sent to that address.

A postal address for formal correspondence is available on request by emailing that address.

What the service is

Make Creati is a browser-based tool for editing PDF documents: changing text, adding text, images and signatures, annotating, organising pages, merging, splitting, and exporting the result.

Editing runs on your own device. Some listed tools are marked as not yet released; those are clearly labelled and are not sold as available.

The service is provided as-is for general document work. It is not legal, financial, tax, or professional advice, and it does not certify, authenticate, or validate any document.

Acceptable use

You may use Make Creati only on documents you own or are otherwise authorised to modify, and only for lawful purposes.

You must not use it to falsify documents; forge signatures; impersonate any person, business, bank, or public body; alter official records, identity documents, or academic records; create deceptive financial, employment, or immigration paperwork; or mislead anyone about a document's origin, authorship, or contents.

We make no claim, and you must not represent, that a document edited with this service will be accepted by any bank, employer, government agency, lender, school, insurer, or other institution.

We may refuse, suspend, or terminate access where we reasonably believe these rules are being broken. Where we do, no refund is due.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials private and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.

You must give accurate information when creating an account and keep your contact email current, since that is how we reach you about purchases and support.

Your documents and content

You keep all rights in the documents you work on. We claim no ownership or licence over them.

Documents are processed and stored in your own browser. We do not hold a copy, which also means we cannot recover a document you delete or lose by clearing your browser data. Keep your own backups.

You are responsible for having the necessary permission for any file you edit and for checking the finished output before you rely on it or send it to anyone.

Prices, payment, and billing

Editing is free. Payment is required to download a finished document, beyond the free allowance described on the pricing page.

Prices are shown in US dollars on the pricing page and at checkout before you pay. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout. The price shown at checkout is the price charged.

Payments are taken by PayPal. By paying you also accept PayPal's terms for the payment itself.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval stated at purchase, at the then-current price, until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation stops the next renewal and access continues to the end of the paid period.

We may change prices for future purchases and renewals. Where a price change affects an active subscription we will give notice before it takes effect so you can cancel.

Cancellation and refunds

Purchases are for immediate digital delivery and are final once payment completes. By checking out you agree to immediate performance and give up any cancellation period that would otherwise apply to digital content.

Editing is free and your first export costs nothing, so you can confirm the result before buying. Narrow exceptions and the full terms are on the cancellation and refunds page.

Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, faults, and events outside our control can interrupt it.

We may add, change, or withdraw features. Where a change materially reduces what an active paid plan provides, we will tell subscribers in advance.

Our responsibility to you

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of data; and our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

We are not responsible for the consequences of how you use a document you produce, including whether any third party accepts it.

Intellectual property

The site, its software, branding, and content belong to Make Creati or its licensors. You may use the service as intended; you may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or build a competing product from it.

You may use documents you produce however you lawfully wish.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service at any time and close your account from your settings.

We may suspend or end access where these terms are broken, where required by law, or where continuing would expose us to legal risk. We will give notice where it is reasonable to do so.

Disputes and governing law

If something goes wrong, contact support first. Most issues are resolved quickly and directly, and we would rather fix a problem than argue about one.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and you agree to that venue.

Nothing here removes any right you have under mandatory consumer protection law in the place where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here when you use the service or make a purchase. Where a change is material we will give notice.
